VERTICAL FEST 2008 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas was quite the day for VISIBLE SCHOOL: Worship & Arts College. The event included a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, numerous places for prayer and worship, a battle of the bands showcase, plenty of youth group activities, and of course, how can you have a concert day without pizza? Among the major acts to play were hard rockers DISCIPLE, ILIA, Christian rap duo GRITS, and CAYERIO. Also playing that day was singer/songwriter Phil Wickham, worship group Fee, and Meredith Andrews. One speaker and sponsor of the day was Olive Aneno, a young woman who grew up in Uganda in the midst of extreme poverty, and now works for Compassion International. VISIBLE Media Group would like to congratulate its community artist SUMMON THE FLEET for winning the battle of the bands.
